Our CE and UKCA marked Grade 7 Ball Bearing Hinges are designed for 35 mm thick FD30 fire doors weighing up to 40kg. Precision ball bearings ensure smooth, quiet operation on light interior doors. They should not be used on 44 mm thick doors or FD60 applications-please use Grade 11, 13 or 14 ball bearing hinges for heavier doors and FD60 fire doors.

Why Choose Atlantic CE Fire Rated Grade 7 Ball Bearing Hinges 3″ x 2″ x 2mm – Urban Dark Bronze?

Grade 7 hinges have a maximum door mass of 40kg and are designed for 35mm thick FD30 fire doors. They are not suitable for 44mm or FD60 fire doors. These ball bearing hinges reduce friction, providing smooth operation, but for heavier or FD60 doors use Grade11, 13 or 14 hinges which are fire-rated and support heavier loads.
